i love velum and have some beautiful papers but i get into trouble when trying to adhere it to card or paper, either the glue shows through which spoils the
card or it just will not stick, help sheenies, what do u use other than brads and ribbons.

I got some brilliant vellum tape in New York made by 3M so it should be available here. You apply it to the side the vellum is to be stuck to, then gently
press the vellum on top. Shows if you apply the glue to the vellum and not to the base item. Then it is invisible when applied properly. Most people put the
glue on the vellum and then it shows. Janet

wacky tacky tape is really good, also I use a vellum spray by 3m

i very often stick the vellum to the back of the card , and use a small anount of glue and conceal it with a peeloff at he front or just let it lay free
depending on style of card

Thank u for your feed back, i live in OZ so will see if Joanna has any of the said items in her shop, have not heard of 3M here

I use a few dabe of glue dots where an embellishment will do. if as a wrap then stick it to the back by three dots.

Pauline, I'm sure you can get 3M products in Oz, but whatever you use, do try putting it onto the item you are sticking to rather than the vellum, for best
results. I grew up in Sydney and I'm sure we got other types of 3M products! Janet

Hi Pauline. We can definately get 3M products in Australia. 3M make the post-it notes and scotch brand products as well. According to their website, the
vellum tape is under the scotch brand, like scotch tape. I just don't know where you can buy them, but look out for the scotch brand. I'm going to look
out for it myself.

I use 3mm double sided tape and run gold pentouch around the edge to cover it up , like below the image is stamped on vellum
