Peeling back the ends of DST before sticking a layer down so you can position it properly then pull the ends of the tape back ing out from underneath. I get
things lined up much better now!

Using the inside of envelopes for iris folding, great if mixed with other papers and very cheap. Love Nannywendy xxx

Apart from the DST tip - fabulous technique isn't it? - I think the one about cutting out the most intricate parts of decoupage sheets first, before
cutting out the rest, is a definite winner - my cutting looks so much better now and many less important bits end up in the bin

Another vote for the DST tip ...
But also recently I saw a demo on C&C which explained about cutting from underneath up over when you're cutting out something from the centre of an image. Don't think I explained that very well but I tried it myself and it's a revelation

I think the one about rubbing a glue stick over DST and foam pads and tape before positioning so there is some 'slide' has saved me from misplacing
lots of things. I also 'wing' the DST where possible.
Another tip I always use is having a bottle of sticky stuff remover in my craft bag to clean stazon and old ink off rubber stamps, clean stamping mistakes off acetate and keeping scissors and rulers clean among other things! Janet |

Blob of bluetack over the nozzles of glue bottles. Never dries out and you dont get rusty glue from using a pin to keep the art institute nibs clogging up.
