Haven't used the Swaps Board myself, but quite understand that it can give the minority a chance to do stupid things. They should feel very ashamed that
their actions have resulted in removing enjoyment from the other forum members. I hope that you have banned them from the forum, Joanna.

So sorry that you have been upset like this Joanna. I agree with everything that has been said, and am behind you 100%. I have never used the Swaps Board,
but always thought it was a good idea - shame a few rotten apples had to spoil it for everyone else.

I am a little surprised that someone has abused this. I used it once and got my very first JS CD on the swap Forum - after this I wanted the rest and gradually
bought them from new. Such a shame.

How can people do such a thing, right under your nose, I am appalled by this, I never used the Swaps Board, but I did occassionally browse and thought it was a
good idea for anyone who wanted to use it...

Like many others I have swapped CD's but only originals would never dream of making copies.

I too am both sad & shocked to read of this difficult decision that Joanna has had to make...... shocked that any member of this forum would stoop so low,
and, nievely (sp) saddened that there are some amongst us lacking the respect rightly deserved to the original artists and producers of the work. It has, as
someone said earlier, been conveniently forgotten that this is unlawful, and yet its so common now. I also feel that those involved should be removed from the
forum, I feel its a bit like when you were back at school and the teacher annouced to the class that because "someone" had misbehaved you all were
going to be punished...... everyone then looked around at everyone else and wondered ....."was it you ??" I must confess that it has shaken my trust
in our group, I'm not one of the frequent contributors, but none the less often 'lurk' and read, but this , well its totally dispicable !

I agree with what everyone has said, I never used the board myself but now some people have spoiled it for those that did use it properly. Also adding my

I have browsed the swop section, but never actually taken part. I also feel apalled that not only theft has occured but that they had the ordacity to do it on
Joanna's forum. As what normally happens it is the minority that spoil things for the majority. I do feel saddened that this has happened to Joanna as

What an awful thing to have happened. I've never used the swap board myself but can imagine it was a really good idea for some people - but as often
happens somebody has to spoil it. I don't know how they can live with themselves. I'm so sorry for Joanna Richard & the team that they have been
treated like this. I admire you Joanna for the way you have handled the matter.

Unbelieveable. I am so sorry to read this, it feels like a betrayal, I'm sure that's how you must have felt when you found out Joanna. You are such a
fair and gracious person, I cannot begin to understand how people could do this, never mind on your own forum. The sheer thoughtlessness is a complete
disgrace, besides it being illegal etc. Like so many others, I consider being a 'Sheenie' as being something special; where so called 'old
fashioned' values aren't old fashioned at all, but are a necessary requisite of all members. So sad that even here such values are taken as a sign of
being soft and an easy target for criminal activity.
I do hope that last night went some way to making you feel better together with the strength of support shown by this thread. Allison x |

Just want to add my support to your decision Joanna, hope this has not caused too much distress.
I dont think I have looked at the forum as I try not to buy something unless I really want it and I am not happy at receiving in this way. I have never used Ebay and I think such sites have encouraged people to be addicted to getting a bargain. Thoughtless is only one word I could use. Ali x |

reasonably priced and there is no need for this. If they spent a little less on fakes Rolex watches and fake Gucci bags they would have the necessary to spend
on the JS genuine CD's!

some people just do not deserve to be on this forum ive looked on the swap page but not actually swapped anything and now through some peoples stupidity we have all lost this hugs to you Joanna Wendy xx |

Spoils things for others too. I do use Ebay but not for CD's - it has been a lifeline to me (not living in the UK) for buying- there some lovely people with Ebay shops and after all I cannot get all (very nearly) my needs in Joanna's shop. Helen Just had a thought- they aren't even very bright are they?
