the time have come for me to say a very sad Goodbye to UK in general and Wales in particular.
I'm sitting on the floor in my former study with the computer on a temporary desk of moving boxes, our home it not a home any more but a house full of boxes and on Monday the packers are back with the lorry to take our things back to Sweden.
Me and my family have had the best times of our lives during the last two years in Wales but my husbands contract end the last of August and we want to be back before school starts in Sweden.
If we haven't come here I wouldn't have discovered this wonderful card maker/designer called Joanna Sheen and a wonderful forum that is a must all days, I wont leave the forum and will need me daily visit but for a few days/weeks I will be busy starting all over again in Sweden.
It's going to be hard coming back to Sweden not that everything is different cause we are going back to our old house but after living abroad, away from old friends and family we have all of them in walking distance in the future which mean that our time wont be our time anymore. I know it sounds mean but since we've made a few new but very close friends here we have started to appreciate the quality in friends more than the quantity.
This morning my best friend text and asked if we wanted morning coffee at the local farm shop and of course we did - even if we all are invited to other friends this afternoon for a farewell-BBQ.
When we left Sweden two years ago nobody did anything to tell us they would miss us but leaving Wales and our new friends here have been loads of farewells, best wishes and we'll miss you messages and tears.
I'll be back in the future with a update on how we are settling in back home.
This is our little house in Sweden, it's small, it's needs a lot work to be done and it has a huge garden that needs to take care of but it's OURS!!
Many hugs and kisses
Karin
