Oh no I don't Do - this is probably first time in 38 years that he has managed to use it - the world could come to and end tomorrow! - he also took it apart to make it work better - as loads of cotton around it. Do I take it I look worse than I feel!

Crikey Carol - now that really would bring the world to an end. He managed to work out how to use the washing machine whilst I was away - but carefully hung out his shirts so they didn't need ironing!

He has never touched an iron in 38 years - even when I had my hip replaced - either my Dad or Dawn came round and did the ironing for me. ( I have just done 3+ weeks worth of i*****g - ok I did break it down into 3 lots and sat on typing chair to do it whilst watching TV).

and whilst I was in hospital - Dawnywol did a meals on wheels evening meal service for him!

Sore subject Carol - supposed to see Consultant within 3 weeks according to release papers from hospital, and what he said to me. Appointment has arrived ......... for end of October. Seeing my own doc in morning - as she will have copy of same release paper from hospital - shall see what she can do.
