Latest Card & Question on using flock |

Here is the card I just made for our friend's 8th anniversary. I used flock for the first time (black waistcoat & pink chaise longue) which was easy enough to do but I am not entirely happy with the result and am not really sure which is the best glue to use (I used a Sakura glue pen). Has anyone else tried flock on cards and if so which glue did you use? |

I would use a tackier glue for flock

I used normal PVA glue from a fine tipped bottle, sprinkled the flock over it and then used a brayer to flatten the flock, and finally tipped off any excess. I
found that it was better if I put some shiny paper (I used the surplus backing from Joanna's EZ mount) between the flock and the brayer to stop it sticking
to the brayer. Hope this helps.

we have flock (9 colours) coming from my trip to the States - and Sparkle and Sprinkle who are manufacturing it suggest using their Stickum glue - hope that

Thanks....think I will have to experiment a bit! I think it is vital to get an even layer of glue which was a bit of a problem with the glue pen. I do have
some of the Stickum Joanna so will give that a shot using either my Versamark pen or pad

Here's a cool tutorial Webisode about fun flock.. Fun Flock I hope it's ok to put the link here. Instead of using glue.. they
use stickers...

Great card Suzy. Love that stamp!! I've some flock but haven't used it for years - bought it to do teddies and ducks one Easter. Then, I used
Anita's tacky glue and pressed down well after putting greaseproof paper over it.. Joanna's glue powder looks very interesting!
