I notice there is also a matte one. MaureenW

If the image comes from a cd I print it out on satin or pearl photo paper. I find that gives it a bit of a sheen but not too much. I know a lot of people use glaze & the Glossy Accents is a good one but I prefer mine without. It's a matter of personal preference I think. Sheila

I use glaze on my decoupage but not always. It largely depends on the look I am going for. It is true what you say about bringing it to life also it will enrich the colours. For an example of what it can look like glazed I have a black tapestry framed card with a red rose on the ' Fantasy Floral' section of my gallery. I used to use proper decoupage glaze from America. It was fantastic but not too healthy ! Now I use Daler Rowney Poster and Water Colour Varnish from all good art shops. Apply with a soft brush but do not brush out too much. Hope this helps. Posts: 7657 (05/08/2008 09:05:04) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I think it depends on the image you use Marc...I recently used it on a Mickey Mouse first birthday card and I loved the effect of the shiny Mickey Mouse decoupage....I used Anita's Glaze (I think that was what it was called!!) but next time I will try the Glossy Accents fro Joanna. love Sheila xx
