Ditto the friendship and caring of other forum members is second to none. I have never ever been a member of anything before this and I am enjoying it so much
. I am beginning to recognise the names of the regulars and its so nice to be a part of it. If I met any of you in 'real life' I wouldn't be able
to converse like I do with you on the forum.

I like the fact that it's a window on the world and I get to hear what other crafters are doing with all the various crafting goodies out there - so little
in the way of communication and crafting groups round here! Helps remind me that there are others like me out there and maybe I am not so daft to be an
obsessive crafter as friends would have me believe lol

Its my relaxation and unwinding time where every time I pop in to the computer to check my e mails mostly jokes from people I never met but have become friends
with through this site I pop into Joannas. Its always the discussions board I read. I have saved some useful info for when I might need it. I love reading the
jokes people send in. I am in the process of making a folder as a hobby with a joke for every day of the year. This is part of a project for the Discovery
group which is a group like the Duke of Edinburg Award but for the over 50s. I cant get myself focused with the cardmaking. I have lots of stuff but my effort
is so poor compared to what I see on here. Just now I havent got much time anyway. All jokes or funnies will be greatfully received.I have a very open mind.

I like the friendly people and their willingness to share their ideas and knowledge.
I used to go to a craft shop for lessons but unfortunately it closed. What I did in the shop classses gave me the basics, but on the forum I have learnt so much more: rubber stamping, CD's (something I thought I didn't like until I saw what could be done with them on the forum),Lyra craylons and watercolouring. But, more than all of that, being on the forum has given me a constant source of crafting access and without it's stimulation I would probably have given up crafting. The forum has also helped me to decide how I should wisely spend the little crafting money I have as a stay at home Mum. It has also encouraged me to spend a whole lot more, but at least it is always with a sound recommendation. I also feel less lonely when I can come on the forum and "talk" with growups who don't know me as SO & So's wife or the kids Mum, when I am on the forum I am just me, and that is a real boost. good point Caroline - it can get really hard to always be somebody's Mum - or so and so's daughter - lovely being just us!

This forum is a place to meet, share and care. I have made some wonderful friends and met many others here whom I wouldn't have ever come into contact with
any other way. It is headed by a caring and vigilant team who keep it a safe and friendly environment. Best of all it shows how approachable Joanne and her
team are and no one need ever feel awkward about posing a genuine question as someone will always be able to help. It's part of my daily ritual and I would
be very sad to lose it.

I like the fact that you can sit down and relax have a good look at what everyones said and join in with the chat and gossip. As I'm at home all day I feel
it's a place that I've got to know people and feel part of a community even though we don't see each other if you know what I mean. I also love the
fast and promt service of ordering from Joanna and her Team.
It's also nice to see what other people are making and sometimes gives you fresh ideas. Keep up the good work Joanna and Team. I for one would feel lost without it. Jenny x |

I like being part of this forum because you get to learn about other people from one end of the country to the other and also from across the seas.
