Delighted to say Scally is back home now and has polished off her dinner. She says to say a big woof to everyone who wished her well yesterday! She looks a bit
like she's done a few rounds with Mike Tyson (except she still has both ears) and she's still a bit groggy but she is wandering around the house at the
moment - probably checking I haven't moved anything of hers!
She has one of those awful bucket things to wear over her head if she starts to paw or rub at her eye but so far it doesn't seem to be bothering her - fingers crossed. With the bucket on, she wouldn't be able to get out of the dog flap so she would be shut in all day while we are at work. So we are hoping she doesn't bother about the eye else wel'll be clearing up a few accidents no doubt each evening when we get home. Back next Wednesday to check it but the stitches are soluble so it should just be a quick check to make sure her eye is closing properly, etc. The Vet said it will probably swell a bit over the next couple of days but that's normal.
