Thank heavens all my card stock is in sealed containers, because I bet a lot would have discoloured with the central heating. x

which I bet a lot of you might find out about. I'm terrible for hoarding my craft stuff, we've all done it haven't we, have a
look, too nice to use? Well I wanted to put some little sticky backed jewels on a card this week. I bought them from C&C when they first started. Little
square pages of all different colours. Well when I went to get them off the backing, both the sticky doo dah, and the coloured bit stayed on the sheet, and all
I got was a clear half round gem! It made me have a look at some of my other toppers etc, and have now discovered that I have loads of stuff that now has to
have glue applied tomake them stick! That's what you go mad and but lots of stuff that you think you will use quickly, and then forget! Jacqui xx

I've found that some of the epoxy stickers have started to curl at the edges!
Will have to check out my gems. Thanks Jacqui. Karin x |

In the depths of time I dabbled with selling some of my cards and bought oodles of envelopes without realising that the lick and stick has a use by time limit.
Not too serious as I could use a glue stick to fix the envelope shut ... but still you live and learn

This has bothered me about creating heirloom scrapbooks. We can be careful to buy lignen and acid free paper and card stock but what about the glue? PVA is Ok
and used in archival restoration but other glue dots/tapes will definitely come unstuck after just a couple of years. Does anyone know of an archival glue
suitable for papercraft other than PVA?

oh I hadn't even thought about scrapbooking. The gems were all still stuck in place though so if you were using them in
scrabooking,(use new ones!) you wouldn't be needing to remove them hopefully. It's just that these are getting on a bit now.
I've also got some curled up corners, that I've turned over, and yes, the epoxy stickers aren't flat anymore. I have loads from QVCs TSVs, and only used an odd one here and there. I daren't look into my stuff now, I just know a lot of it will be rubbished! |

I've had that problem with gems and stickers too. I tend to steer clear of Pick of the Day or TSV kits, cos I would end up wasting half of the stuff mostly
because as far as I know there are very few crafters in my village to share with
