These new google pictures aren't aerial views. They are taken from vans driving along your road so I should imagine could have the potential to see in some
windows or open doors.

Google Earth is great - you can check out anywhere you are going for parking - yellow lines, etc. Much easier too if you are going somewhere you haven't
been to before as you can get some landmarks to go by.
Also great for nosing at the houses in the posh areas! Posh road near me and almost every one has a swimming pool in the back garden and several have tennis courts, etc. Nice to see how the other half struggle through! Not that I'm nosy or anything!
