made with recycled card (once sold by Lakeland)
Backing paper from Tim Holtz grungeboard packaging
Knight from Warwick Castle leaflet, used corrigated cardboard to raise image (cardboard from cat food box) and held together with double sided tape. Been playing with photobucket for ages trying to get the image small enough, now trying to get it to the forum! Hope this works EuniceX

Well, here's mine. Mum & I between us got three of the same Xmas card last year - so I took them all off their little foam pads and have decoupaged it.
The ribbon is salvaged from a shop bought card I had on my birthday and the greeting is a pic of a backing paper from a craft company catalogue. All I have
added is a wee bit of red glitter glue to the berries.

Hi this is my effort for this weeks challenge.
Flowers are from one of my daughters birthday cards (Sarah gives me all her cards to recycle what I can) the peel off stalks are bits left over from previous
card makes, the leaves are scrap left over from a medallion peel off, the butterflies are from a piece of scrap vellum and the card is a piece I cut for
another card and then decided it didn't work.

I found this one hard but here goes. The background is a cuttlebugged soft drinks bottle and the centre is an aluminium can using a brass stencil through the
cuttlebug. The colouring is done with peel off markers. I don't think I like it very much and it will be going in the recycling were it belongs.

Here's my addition to this week's challenge
I used a page from an old Thomas Kinkade daily calendar..mounted on 2 different scraps of wallpaper.. with an old tatty silk flower (taken apart).. with an old button. The sentiment is the back of a piece of wallpaper and I wrote the words myself.. I used a piece of gold card that has been hanging around in my box for ages LOL.. Love all the cards on here so far.. Here is my efforts for the challenge. I have to say that i really enjoyed this. I am not to happy with the card as a whole but i love the elements of it. I used some tissue paper found in an old shoe box and some scraps of lace and wallpaper as extras. The main focus of the card is actually a domino! I stamped and embossed on to it and then inked over the top with red ink. I think I will be doing many more of there!! I have loved looking at all the other cards too. Kaylie x |

Thanks for the challenge Tina, it certainly made me think!!!!!! Here is my card. The card blank is made from a nice piece of off white textured card which
formed the back of a presentation/report folder. It was being binned today at work and I thought it deserved rescuing...only needed to trim the tatty corners
off. The gold cord threaded through the bottom of the card was from a box of chocolates and the velvet ribbon/bow and fluff was originally joined together in
a band but it came apart....it may be quite old...not sure where it is from as i found it in mum's old sewing box which I have kept even though I don't
sew!
Oooops almost forgot to mention that gorgeous oriental picture....it is from a 2007 Christmas card catalogue and the punched gold butterflies are from the front cover of a magazine.

Just have to say what a clever bunch you all are. Thank you Tina I really enjoyed making my card and as my card isn't really the sort of size for a card (a
little bit on the small side) I am now going to recycle it into ATC's.

Heres my offering.
The base card is from the back of last years calendar (one form the Papermill shop that I decorated myself and just couldn't bear to part with), a CD teaching me Italian from the Mail on Sunday covered with the cellophane from choccies. Oh the hardship I had to go through to eat the choccies Love Jill x |
