Posts: 1785 (08/08/2008 10:42:29) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None For me it is Autumn - I just love crisp Autumn days, walking in the woods with Will, the colours of the leaves etc. As I don't like hot weather the cooler days suit me much better. Perhaps because I have worked in schools for many years, for me September is the beginning of the new year, so I don't think of Autumn as a dying time but a time of new beginnings . This morning the weather is cool and clear and makes me think of the coming Autumn

I do like winter nights when you can pull your curtains and be cosy but dread snow and ice now as can fall over a matchstick at the best of times

To me Spring feels optimistic after a long cold winter. I like the autumn colours but I find the season itself quite depressing - it is like anticipating the end of something.
