Don't know how we will get on at the moment. Had a bad night, she refused to go to bed, eventually managed to get her there at 12.30 am and still not in the happiest of moods!!!! Hope we can get her in the car as she can be very stubborn when like this - told her I'm taking her to visit friends - a coward, I know!!!!! Then later I can craft to my hearts content, try to catch a bit of Sharon this afternoon or might even spend a couple of hours at a continental fayre event that has been going on all weekend locally. The world is our oyster for a few days! Yipeeeeeee!!! Don't get me wrong - love mum and dad to bits but sometimes, enough is enough! Wish me luck, sheenies!!! San x

It will give you the strength to carry on. Of course you love your mum and dad but 24/7 is a huge commitment and you owe it to them as well as yourself to have a break to recharge the batteries. I went there every day anyway, but the thing was, he really liked it, and didn't want to come home. Of course he had 24 hour nursing care, and I was there every day, but he was just so m uch more comfortable. I wish you well Sandra, and chin up, it doesn't mean you feel any the less, luv Jacqui x
