You can't ignore the Taj Mahal or the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, Sentosa in Singapore - can't think of any more.
I stand corrected - Petra - very high on my list of places to visit and Yes - it's there.

DM I think the less we say about what you might like to get up to in Sheenie Dave's shed lol the better
My nominations for 7 wonders of the world would be 1. Venice - all of it 2. Niagara Falls 3. Las vegas (all of it good and bad) 4. Cothele - a national trust property on the borders of Devon and Cornwall (so pretty) 5. The Channel Tunnel 6. Shangri-la hotel Kuala Lumpur - (breathtaking) 7. The Barrier Reef (all of that too!) |

ohhh langkawi - sigh - wonder if it is still unspoilt and beautiful ... was when Richard and I went there
now I feel all holiday-ish and wish we were off somewhere nice rather than Peterborough lol |

I could happily do the 7 wonders of Great britain actually - we may not always rival the world for spectacular but good solid beauty - that waht GB does best -
The Lake District Norfolk Broads Ben Nevis anyway you get my drift ..... and hey there's always the millenium dome .. or the London Eye - hmmm I wonder why they wouldn;t even get into my top 700 wonders of the world lol |
