Anyone had any luck with making the flower soft bouquets? Had a go at the weekend and even though I have the glue suggested, the bl..dy flower soft keeps
dropping off.

cut down on the amount of glue, just dip the wire into the end and toss the flowersoft over it, dont dip it in. Then stand it up to dry in a bit of a foam
sponge.
Hope this helps |

If you would like to look in my images first folder third card is a flower soft card. I used Anitas tacky glue, you get the odd bit that drops off ,but I was
totally happy with the result.

I did suggest a while ago, to try DST wrapped around the 'stem'. Start a bit off on edge of table or whatever...twiddle your stem as far up and round
it as you want then squodge your flower soft onto it....may be worth a try..nought to lose... sorry for the 'technical ' terms !!!

Linda that's a really pretty card. Will persevere and try Win's suggestion as well.

I had a few not so successful attempts to start with, but found that it seemed to work best if I sprinkle the flower soft on as soon as poss after putting the glue on, and also had to get used to the right amount of glue. It is now working very successfully and the resulting cards have been snapped up by friends! It is worth persisting. Incidentally I am also using Anita's Tacky Glue. Good luck. - Lesley |

I tried making them for the first time last week but I used some florist wire (from OH's stash - he's a florist!) and thick PVA glue and it worked. Had
to use a small amount of glue and work fast. Dried reasonably quickly and only lost a small amount of bits which didnt adhere to the glue. Happy with the
result though.
Will try to post a pic later when I get home - I used them with the flowersoft pots rather than in a bouquet. Ros x |
