I remember the names of nearly all those mentioned even if we didn't watch them. But no one has mentioned Champion the Wonder Horse, or Rin Tin Tin! And
Studio E was on before Vision On.

someone mentioned Andy Pandy! I couldn't believe when they said it was coming back on, but had to be changed because the
"format" wasn't (politically correct!!!!! ???) Andy spending too much time with Teddy, and then Looby Loo going into the basket with Andy
pandy, and shutting the lid!!! God Almighty, just what do they think 2 & 3 year olds would make of that? The mind boggles. Didn't make me anything
other than what I am....................pretty normal!!!!!!!!!!! Don't answer that!!
I have to say, I watch a lot of the kiddies bits with my Grandchildren, and I think some of them are downright awful. Rag Tag & Bobtail, etc, WERE for the kiddies.I think they would still love them all now. xx Jacqui x |

Oh what great memories! Pogles of Pogles Wood, The Clangers, Paulus the Woodgnome, HR Puffn'stuff, Bootsie and Snudge was a favourite as I lived in
Borehamwood as did Alfie Bass who I met shopping many times over the years. He was a lovely man who was friendly and cheerful at all times. Remember White
Horses and Belle and Sebastian. "I Didn't Know You Cared" was the one with Uncle Mort who always had a dewdrop on his nose! Many of the
programmes were made at Elstree studios in my home town so we often saw the stars wandering around the shops. That was in the days of The Avengers and Randall
and Hopkirk (deceased). Remember "Listen with mother" "Now are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin..." Does anyone remember Busy
Lizzy and Little Mo? Mary, Mungo and Midge and Pipkins? Ooooohh The Herbs, The Woodentops, The Flumps, I could go on all day!!!
Thanks for the memories! Shoestring x |

I remember watching Laramie while eating a sandwich for Saturday night tea in PJs before bedtime. Is the song Lightening Tree the theme to Follyfoot. Every
week while on our travels to daughters in Derby we see this poor tree that looks as if struck by lightening and always brings that tune to mind.
