I wanted to send something back to QVC but had mislaid the returns form. Emailed them this morning and they answered me within 2 hours to say that they have put a returns form in the post to me and I should get it tomorrow! Still awaiting a reply from C&C on an email of 3 months ago!! Jan

I had a kit recently from QVC and had used part of it before realising that a majority of the card stock were damaged. It was too much hassle to return it and it had been a sell out. So I complained, really only to get an apology or an expanation. It took three weeks, numerous emails and 1 letter to get a response, which was a full refund but only because I dug my heels in and refused to go away quietly. I've had a lot of kits from QVC that have had bits missing from them, it's pointless complaining but I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered from Create & Craft. I think it is maybe just luck of the draw...

QVC have always been excellent and I have had terrible trouble with C & C and will never shop with them again, in fact QVC exchanged something for me that had broken after 11 months and 28 days, hows that for service (not as good as Sheenie Towers of course)

I've occasionally bought things I didn't like, but that could happen with any distance shopping. From a programme point of view, I prefer C & C. The programmes are more varied, the demonstrations are better, and I prefer to see the person who has designed/marketed the product to do the actual demonstration. They have a greater interest and expertise in demonstrating their "baby", rather than a rush through it quickly dismissive attitude, which one sometimes gets. Also many of the demonstrators on C & C will tackle more difficult techniques. Finally, when I first started cardmaking, my biggest grumble was the dilemma of ordering a product before it was demonstrated and it selling out. - No demonstration and as a novice crafter I had absolutely no idea how to use it. Here C & C wins hands down, because at sometime in the future the product will most likely be demonstrated on the dedicated C & C channel (and it will be done without rushing). QVC do not offer this facility. Sell-out, - No demo, - and the product may not appear again. Not a good sales pitch in my opinion. Hope I haven't offended anyone. Sheila W.

Just had another run in as I was offered a refund on my next order as part of my last order was missing (not enough sheets of Angel hair in the pack) I was told that the value would come off my next order. So I just placed an order online as I always do as I am a club member and want my 10% discount and when I completed the order it didn't take the promised refund. So I have made yet another call to India to be told that you can only have this type of refund if you order over the phone. I asked what was the point of this when I make all my orders on line to get the club discount to be told - oh well just tell them you are a member and they will give you the discount. I also pointed out that I would have to pay for this phone call so that was reducing the value of the refund they offered me. It really feels like you are banging your head a brick wall as they cannot handle a simple query that is not covered in their 'script'. I have probably spent more in phone calls trying to make myself understood than the value of the chuffing refund Rant over QVC have always been excellent when dealing with problems and it's a free call as well so you don't mind and rarely do I get put on hold and most times am sorted within a matter of a few minutes instead of what always seems to be at least a 20 mins call (if i'm lucky) with C&C

Posts: 83 (02/08/2007 18:43:53) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	i have bought from qvc a few times. i have had things missing and not turning up at all but they have refunded or part refunded which is fine by me. i do find it frustrating on qvc when they say tsv or one time onlys!!! to find when they do rarely get it back in, its the same price not sure is any one else has noticed this ????? i have yet not bought from c&c i do watch it when i remember its on but never bought from, and am a bit concerned about buying from as not just this post has mentioned bad service

Posts: 7414 (02/08/2007 18:52:01) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I bought a kit from QVC a little while ago, only when I started to use it did I discover one sheet of die cut sentiments was printed in such a way the words went off the edge of the die cuts on one side. I rang them and told them about it, said I didn't want to send it back and could they just replace the one item. Just a few days later I received 3 copies of the sentiments that were wrong, plus two copies of the other sheets of sentiments which had no fault, about a dozen cards belonging to the kit and some other die cuts! I was well pleased! Paula x

I agree wholeheartedly concerning the demos. It's just a fact of the business, sell, sell sell, but as you say, on C&C you do have the chance to see the product on a pre recorded show. I'm talking strictly customer services here. I'm afraid the 2.00pm QVC show on a Tuesday, was a never miss show, but now it seems half the show, (especially with Katherine) is about Dawns party, (and just how long ago WAS that?) or what crafting SHE does. A customer rang Tuesday afternoon, and was kept waiting for ages, and it was obvious that neither of them were listening, totally rude and uncalled for. If they can't be bothered to answer properly, they shouldn't allow "phone ins". Unfortunately I think the shows have turned into a me me me programme. Much prefer to watch Leonie now, I hope she doesn't change. (sorry, got off the theme a bit there just stating an opinion) xx

Posts: 278 (02/08/2007 19:07:41) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	i have had loads of problems with qvc, bits missing out of kits, words wrongly spelt, etc and on one occasion i had to return something that was faulty it was a heavy item, was told that someone would pick it up, nobody did so had to ring them again was told that i had cancelled i told them no i did'nt why would i cancel it when the item was faulty so they said that someone would collect it same performance and it took over 8 weeks to get collected and for a refund, whereas when i had to return something to ideal world it went through without a hitch
