Others via my computer. I have now had a couple which wont open on either. Last one was got over by sender removing menu and then it opened via my computer. Now all this is double dutch to me, they open or they don't. Very frustrating. Went on to the silver surfers site Jacqui recommended but nothing there for a computer nerd like me, well past the sell by date. Anybody got a solution for which I would be very greatful. Eileenx

It depends on the software used to create the 'Autorun' on the DVD or CD. All I can suggest is that you open 'My Computer' - find your DVD/CD drive in the list - right click on it and then click 'Properties' you will see a window with various tabs. Click on the 'Autoplay' tab - from the drop down menu select what you want to happen when you insert different sorts of disks. You can select the bottom 'tickbox' for all types of disks to prompt you for an action.(You have to go down the list and check off each one.) Hope that helps. Mike - thecomputerman
