I am just not able to sit at the computer to look at all the cards and reply to the threads as I used to, but I do try and comment (often with a pm) on ones I particularly like, or if I have a question about how the card is made.

There are some members who show cards almost every day, and the styles are similar in many cases. I then only comment on anything different or that appeals to me -I don't mean that the others are badly made (they most certainly aren't) - they just aren't my kind of card and I find it hard to comment on them in an original way, when the same kind of card appears so often.

I love to see the cards -after all, it is a card-making forum primarily, and I agree as above, that sometimes it can be hurtful to offer suggestions on how a card can be improved, unless that has specifically been asked for. After all, our cards (in many cases) are our babies, and we don't like criticism, however well meant. So I find it easier not to comment than to say anything that might be hurtful. Personally, I appreciate any suggestions, but almost no-one seems brave enough to criticise cards at all, even with constructive criticism.

We all have our own styles and naturally some appeal more to different people. I am not fond of 'cute' cards, on the whole, but some cute cards are beautifully made. I cannot stand Tilda-type images and also many digi images -but again, the card-maker may have done wonders with them.

I am continuing to stay away from the forum most of the time (though I look in without loggin in most days), so will not be commenting, but I do enjoy seeing the cards, and appreciate all levels of expertise.
