I discovered that if you pay your BT line rental all in one go, you save almost £50 a year -so did!! I have been looking into other things that are cheaper paid all in one go too.
Always use comparison websites for buying almost anything from books to freezers. I gave up my Which subscription a few years back as I found the library get it and I can check it out there for best buys.
I share bulk buying with my friend - toilet rolls, washing and dishwasher powder etc. It is cheaper to buy the dishwasher items separately than getting the 3 in one tablets -they last forever. I got my first dishwasher well over 6 months ago and have still to get new salt, powder or rinse aid.
I have to shop for groceries online but we get local farm produce for fresh veg, fruit and meat. Also go to a local fish stall once a fortnight for fresh-caught fish.
I use the £1 shop a lot when I can get there too.
