Flora. I can't remember the last time I went into a butchers. We had a lovely one right near where I live, but Sainsburys opened down the road and then Tescos, and he couldn't make a living, and closed,so I'm afraid I buy my meats from the supermarket or Nettos.
I was wary of buying anything there to tell the truth but now, I buy all I can. the meats are just lovely, and they're ALWAYS on "special" My daughter pays twice as much for chicken goujons or breasts than I do,(Tescos normally)  (I'm a roast chicken fan...and SO is Pepsi!!) they usually come in packs and are either BOGOFS or much cheaper anyway. Nettos soups are 3 for £1, and I use those when I'm making a casserole or stew. Same size Heinz is 57p a tin.I buy Clover usually for £1 a tub, and kellie pays about £1.69. I know Asda are supposed to be good but I don't think they'll compare too favourably against Netto myself. Have to wait and see.
Plus of course occasionally they have quite a lot of craft bits, their photo paper is excellent, laminating pouches etc, so I stock up when they have them in xx
