A few small tips but nonetheless, they all help don't they?
Dilute liquid soap 50:50, it works just as well.
Use dry pine cones as firelighters. Collect cones when they are just opening and let them dry out.
When pruning woody stems, cut them into short lengths and dry them to use as kindling - it really works.
I now make a shopping list and stick to it: it's surprising how few impulse buys I make these days, and that includes craft items!
I also try to do my main shopping fortnightly, choosing goods that will freeze and vegs that will stay fresh in the fridge. I freeze milk so I don't have to keep going shopping. This saves quite a bit on petrol [nearest shop 4 miles], and I can also walk across the forest to the post box, a lovely walk and saves unnecessary petrol use.
We could write a book between us!
