Glad to hear all these positive comments girls. A little bit of determination and you can all be quite a bit lighter by Christmas. When faced with temptation ask yourself this - Do I really want or need to eat this? or do I want to lose weight and feel better about myself/improve my health/ fit into a lovely party outfit for Christmas, (or all 3). Remember a little bit of what you fancy won't hurt, if you plan it into your diet and stay in control. Just because you're on a diet doesn't mean you have to stop enjoying your food. There are tons of recipes out there, on the internet, in books and magazines. Why not try something completely new this week, something you've never tried before. You may just surprise yourself.

I lost 1 + 1/2 lbs this week, taking my total to 1 stone and 8lbs. But even more exciting, I did my first Zumba class today. They have started one up straight after the SW class, so I've no excuse, I'm already there. It was hard, and I struggled to keep up because it was very fast, even when the instructor said it was a slow one. Her definition of slow is most certainly different to mine.smiley: laugh I have no idea how she can wiggle her hips so much, and her bottom, the only thing that jiggled on me was my fat.smiley: laugh By the time the class was over I was beetroot red and sweating like I'd just done the 4 minute mile. Still I got through it, just opted out of one track to enable me to get my breath back. She said it will get easier each week, especially as we get familiar with the moves. I bought myself one of those scarf thingies you tie around your hips, with all the coins and beads sewn onto it so it jingles when you shake your booty.smiley: laugh

So come on ladies, if I can do it so can you. Stop making excuses (we all do it) and make a committment to losing some wobbly stuff.smiley: happy
