I bought the kindle with keyboard a few weeks ago.  I did consider the other but I like to be able to type things in properly - I find it useful for typing in searches etc.

As to the proper internet - I think they call it an experimental area - it's great for accessing Amazon and buying books but for accessing here - Joanna Sheen - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek no - you can get the page up but it's horrendous trying to read it.

I must admit I was a stick in the mud and wanted to read the 300 plus books in the house before buying a Kindle, but got tempted and wow I just love it to pieces.  So easy to read - and perfect for those like me who sometime struggle with holding a book (arthritus maybe).  Went back to a traditional book yesterday - was on chapter 3 and half way to work when I realised I had already read it - yikes long journey and no book!!!  I will never travel anywhere Kindleless again.
oh the new cheaper version doesn't store as many books either but then again who needs to store over 3,000 anyway?
