When Paula used to demo she got me hooked on  Mattie stencils, (I really missed her when she went) and nearly all of my cards were hand embossed or embroidered  and hand cut.I bought all the different sorts, but haven't seen any cards done  with them for ages. I found that extremely satisfying. When I got my BSE last Christmas, I tried putting my Matties through it, but was completely unsuccessful, it's only the fact that the arthritis in my hands make them really swell when I do the hand embossing. I love parchment craft too, but can't cut out the small Xs...fingers again!
I have very little in the way of decoupage sheets, I always make my own, and I love playing with PSP.
I have the DSA etc, and have made a couple of pages but haven't printed anything out .
I love using flowers that I've made, and years ago I bought a book on hand made embellishments, only made a couple and that was that. It's so tempting to buy things that are already made, plus of course it's the time element. Apart from the samples in the shop, I'm lucky enough to sell all the rest of my cards, most I have to do from scratch, because they're usually themed (and very odd too they are sometimes!smiley: laugh)

Joan it all depends on how you apply or what you do with that image, you could always see how different each card was when we had the forum competition with people using the same image. xx

I'm sure we ALL enjoy our hobby Tess, I was just comparing the old to the new.
