I too was a real book lover and huffed and puffed about Kindles saying that I wouldn't buy one till I had at least read a good percentage of the books in the house - have so many due manly to buying them in charity shops, etc.  I love the front covers etc - wish the Kindle had that feature.

But I'm totally converted - so much easier to hold (arthritus doesn't get painful when reading now) - so fabulous being able to buy a book instantly and at such good prices.  The Kindle daily deal is brilliant.  Having all the books you've ever read and want to read in one place how cool is that?  I would have thought a librarian would have loved that as you can store them all in their own collections alphabetically which again the order really appeals to me.
I've still got hundreds of books in the house and in theory I'm supposed to be reading them alternating with my Kindle but it's becoming a bit of a task to pick up the real thing rather than the Kindle.

I have the 3G keyboard version and I wouldn't part with the keyboard for the world.  Useful for typing in searches etc.
