Wendy be aware that the cheapest kindle in the states is one which is advert supported which we don't have here, and according to some people won't work over here because of that, also the kindle touch and kindle fire are run on a different system to here and is not supported outside of the states so that leaves just the 2 available here the new kindle and the kindle keyboard


I too did not think i would like an ereader as much as proper books, but i have been converted in the13 months i have had mine i now find that paper books are more difficult, i can't change the size of the print if its small which i can with the kindle, also i don't have to keep dusting the books and my wrists don't hurt holding the book the kindle is much lighter and the deciding factor for me was that if late at night i finished a book in the series i could download the next one and carry on reading in seconds i did not have to get a bus into town and then go into the 2 bookshops to see if they had it in stock then traipse all the way home again
