Trackballs are brilliant and make such a lot of difference with dexterity problems. You do still have to click or double click however, but moving the cursor and doing the clicking can be made two totally separate movements a lot easier. I never get any aches and pains from my arthritis using mine, though. I'm sitting here using one on my laptop (as I always do) and didn't think, for one second, to tell you about them. Sorry.
