I don't particularly use Royal Mail except for the odd letter or card that needs to be posted.
If sending a card I automatically put a large 1st/2nd class stamp on so recipient doesn't get charged at the other end!

I think if they are going to charges up then R M has to get it's act together again and give us a 'proper service'.
Unfortunately, once again, it is the wrong person (local postie) that gets the ear-bending and not those that are sat in their comfy centrally heated offices.

Even back in the 'old days' there were 2 deliveries - 1 in a morning and 1 in an afternoon...and that was on the same day as being posted!!
1st class has become abit of a joke...sent a card that I'd made for Sarah to send on and it took 3 days to get to her!!
During the last 6mths our post has gone from being delivered around 10.30 -11.00 to now 3.30 - 4-00 and we never see the same postie twice and some don't even have a uniform on so they could be anyone delivering?
