Well done Denise, you are doing well this week, I hope you get your 7lb. Nancy, you are doing great too, keep it up. Wendy, staying at the same weight is an achievement in itself. At least you're not putting it on, are you? So that is a good thing in my book, don't be hard on yourself.

I had a hearing test last year, which proved I had some loss of hearing in both ears, but mainly the left. They gave me a hearing aid, but I am a naughty girl and I hardly wear it, I can manage ok without at the moment. I do need the tv up a little louder than the rest of the family would have it, but not too much, so they aren't complaining. However, I do remember the consultant saying that you have to consider those around you as they can find it very irritating to have to repeat everything they say, and the tv sound level can be uncomfortable for them. I already knew all that because my Dad (and his Mum before him) is very deaf - hearing aid in each ear - and sometimes I despair of being able to communicate with him, more so over the phone. It is a bit of a nightmare sometimes, or like something out of a comedy sketch, but it makes me realise just how frustrating it is.

Anyhow, off to watch the results of DOI, hope that Andy goes out tonight. smiley: happy

Be good, and if you can't be good, then hide the evidence.!! smiley: roll
