I got a bit hooked on some of the wedding programmes. I know we all have music for dancing, but most of these couples booked live entertainment, even jugglers and fire eaters, you name it, they've had it. Since when do weddings have to be a variety show? Some of these "over the top" brides just amaze me.
I'm not keen on wedding lists either, but DO understand the point of those (we had 3 toasters when we got married!!) but to ask someone not even related for a fridge or freezer, once again, I wouldn't have the audacity to do that. What a position to put someone in especially if they couldn't afford it.
I actually do think that vouchers are a good idea, especially if the couple have asked for them. then they can get exactly what they want or need, or all matching stuff. I used to say I didn't like vouchers at all, but because I get them for my craft stuff, I've changed my mind!!

There's a huge difference between helping family and close friends to just acquaintances isn't there?
