Some have been heartbreaking to make but one that really sticks out is a retirement card for a lady who had spent her life championing the plight of the homeless and indeed worked for shelter.
She intended spending her retirement gardening and travelling and I remember using Joanna's greenhouse stamp which I had just bought.
The verse I wrote was about her life and her work.
I was later told that my verse was read out by the Archbishop (can't remember which one), as it best summed up what they wanted to say to her. The retirement party was held at Westminster and there was lots of dignitaries there.
...wish I'd been there to see it.
