Well thanks for all the suggestions ladies, I have tried all the supposed deterrents except the moth balls to no avail, it's definitely cats ,and they are living next door.not great neighbours so no joy there .if it was covered up it wouldn't,t be so bad.where we step out of our cars is probably the worst ,on the pebbles,When it's daylight it's not so bad but dark nights are a nightmare. If my neighbours had a litter tray it would help. Had one came at 5 each evening.. sat with hosepipe primed ...very quietly on the garden bench,it came to get my goldfish out of the pond, with some success I might add, anyhow I caught it with the spray and it flew away, next day bold as brass it was there again .! So nothing helps .Of course I don,t want to hurt the things I am just desperate to send them away!this last time it's cost me two rugs which my granddaughter had walked on !!!!
