I do feel for you both it must be a very worrying time for you. I've said it before and I'll say it again... our health service is top notch in an emergency but it often leaves a lot to be desired when you turn up at your GP with something that's not immediately recognized.

I do hope they get their act together and sort your husband out asap - it shouldn't be about noses out of joint, but getting someone who is obviously ill sorted out. How any idiot can say pain and a bladder that doesn't work isn't a problem is beyond me. The art of the diagnostician seems to have passed many doctors by and it's a real lottery (speaking from experience here) as to whether you see someone who can see the wood for the trees these days.

I hope someone sees sense and they at least get his pain relief sorted today.
