I thought the caption comp was quite popular and went to have a look and saw that some people had put multiple replies, I know that was allowed, but it made it look like more people were joining in , if you know what I mean. A ditty//rhyme to a caption would suit some of us down to the ground, but not everyone has the knack so perhaps a bit unfair. It's hard to think of something that could run for a whole month, it has to be something with just one answer, or none would be able to be put in print because of copying. It's the same with quizzes, I won't do them now because of the YUKU pm set up, it makes it really difficult and
exceptionally
time consuming.
I just think it's a pity about lots of things we've tried and people just don't join in. I always thought prizes would draw people in, and with quizzes it certainly did, but on the same note, lots of people only joined in when there
WAS
a prize, like high days and holidays, there was only the "faithful few" that did them every week.
Good luck Tina. x
