This might sound very long winded but i have an a4 folder containing papers with various headings like flowers, birds, flourishes, trees, sentiments etc... I went through all my stamps and stamped them under the various headings then stamped them again on an a5 piece card. I then marked at the top of the card say Joanna Sheen 1 or Clarity 1 depending on where the stamp came from or just A5 - 1, A5 - 2 etc.. I cut an A5 laminate sheet and stuck my stamp on to it and put it in an A5 cello bag along with the a5 card to match. I wrote in the a4 folder next to the stamped image in which a5 cello bag i would find the stamp. I keep all my a5 cello bags of stamps upright in a box so they are easy to flick through. You can fit quite a few stamps on one a5 sheet.

I find if i need a specific stamp say a butterfly i can just look it up in the folder and all the images of butterflies will be together with the corresponding cello bag written beside them. The folder is also useful to look through if you need inspiration. It took me a few days to do this system but i find it really useful now. When i get new stamps it doesn't take long to add them.

I'm not sure I've explained this very well or if you even follow this Sue, it might sound like gobble d %%$% but i thought i would have a go.
