I haven't uninstalled it and do keep trying with it, but I'm not as keen on it as I am on GCF. The thing is I don't often use this type of program to make an actual card but as a page layout type tool and GCF is definitely easier than CA for that. I don't really want to do anything other than print a background using a computer when I'm card making. I like to add components to it manually, from the items I have in my stash.
What I meant when I mentioned margins is that in GCF I can use their template to start with then go in to page set up and zero the margins to prepare the card for borderless printing. In CA I can't do that. I have to make a card through the custom selection. That's not a real problem, though. No worries. That's what I was explaining to the chap at Serif and he agreed that we should be able to adjust their templates too if we wanted to. He said he would pass it on to the program team for an update or the next version. Most programs, of any type, allow that.
I don't find the items in the digikits stay in the sidebar when I've transferred them. Once the program is closed they leave the sidebar. They're only in the sidebar as long as I don't close the program or I save the project.
