Oh dear. I was always in trouble. In my junior school they couldn't keep you in after school, but I had slapped legs a few times.

Secondary school I fared not much better. But it was a brand new school with a headmistress with brand new ideas. They had a plot of unused land which they decided to make into the 'school garden'. So instead of detention indoors, anyone in trouble spent time doing the garden. It became known as my garden for a while.
