I like marmalade on Yorkshire pudding too. I've just had Weetabix for breakfast but I'm going to have some toast and marmalade later before I go to physio. I have noticed that sandwich spread hasn't been mentioned yet. Doesn't anyone like that? I do, but it's not my favourite spread.

You've brought back two interesting memories for me Joannie; one lovely memory from childhood (aged maybe 5 or 6) of running late one morning and dashing to school eating a weetabix spread with butter and jam - I loved it! The other still makes me feel sick - my one and only visit to Thorpe Park, with my younger sister and her family, I fancied a yorkshire pud for lunch but couldn't decide on a filling. In the end I went with treacle (all I can say is that it seemed like a good idea at the time!) When my lunch arrived the yorkshire pud was as large as a dinner plate, the sides were about 3cms high, and the whole thing was full to the brim with treacle! Even after tipping all the treacle away, so much had soaked in to the batter it was totally inedible! smiley: roll
