Matthew 'tries it on' with Sarah and Craig sometimes, I think he knows how far to push with them and must admit they give in to things that I wont....don't know if it's because they work shifts or parenting of today??? With us he knows "the Look" and stops.

As for language my mum always told my dad "Theirs a time and place for everything so keep your gutter language at work". I don't ever recall either of them swearing until well after I was married and then it was only "Bl**dy H**l" nothing worse.

I haven't ever sworn in front of Sarah, although have been tempted at times but Terry and I found other words to take the place.

Sarah only ever 'showed off' once while we were in a shop.... She was coming up for about 3 I think? I had let her out of her pram and wouldn't go back in when asked. She started running around the clothes carousels, so when I did get her she got her legs slapped. Not too hard, more of a shock, but enough to know that if I said "NO" that was what I meant. One of the shop assistants started to have a go at me so I turned round on her and told to mind her own business or I would do the same to her!!!!! Needless to say it was a long time before I went back in.

Cann't stand to hear mothers saying "I'll smack you" or "I'll tell your dad" over and over and then do absolutely nothing or give in and buy them something to pacify the situation!!
