a halogen is one thing i can't be without, i love mine

i use it for roasting meats, making great roast taties, i've cooked fish in foil & it was fabby, i've not done cakes or anything in it cos i'm diabetic & don't have a sweet tooth anyway.
you can do scone's, bread etc too. all meat comes out moist & perfectly roasted, and steaks are gorgeous. for your first go with it i'd say try chicken fillet as you can see them cooking and it's easy to tell when they're cooked, you will have to get used to your HO, every one is different, that's why i advise the fillets first, then next time stuff them & wrap them in bacon, yummy!!
you can even use them as an Air-Fryer! proper chips all healthy.

i'd advise you join a halogen site if you're on facebook, there are lot's about and they have great info & you can ask any questions. really just treat it as a small fan oven for temps etc & take off 10% of the time for a rough estimate of how long something will take.
