Don't get me started on this one. One of my cats (no longer with us) came in injured, I worked at a vets at the time, and although there was no pellet, we thought he had been hit on his back. Now, I knew my neighbour shot at cats in his garden, but I had no proof. Some time later I saw him shoot at a cat, which was in waste ground between our two houses. I ranted at him from my garden and he came round. He didn't know I had cats, and started on about how he hated the things, and they eat birds etc. My husband had to drag me away from the door as it became very heated. We live in a very small village, and the person concerned is in his 60s and suposedly of good reputation (parish councillor) I threatened him with the police and RSPCA if I ever see him shoot at any animal again.
The cat concerned was ok. He was obviously not a goot shot.
