I don't have any cuttlebug dies, are they thick or thin compared with say, quickutz dies?
I have used quickutz, sizzlets, revolution and ellison thin cuts no problem.
I sometimes can't get the big sizzix die sandwich to "catch" and I didn't like using the ellison thick cuts die because it seems an awful strain.
I made a sandwich too thick by padding it too much to try to get deeper embossing with a fiskars texture plate. It was VERY tight but I reversed it and kept going. I thought the machine was going to break, but I had no choice. I had forgotten about "uncontrolled ejection " (my grandson loves that phrase) so I did not try to catch it as it came out the back.
It ejected like a rocket, went flying across my craft desk clearing everything in front of it!
Still everything has worked fine since and that has been a lot of use!
Hope everything works now,
Alison
