I find the water thing is good. We all need to do it even if not on a diet but have found as suggested to me that if you drink a glass of water shortly before your meal it fills you up and makes the meal more satisfying. Seems to work. I use the flavoured waters that are around and make sure I drink one a day (1 litre) I also have 4 or 5 cups of tea spread throughout the day.
