Good morning from Benbecula. Sun's shining on one half of the sky and t'other is cluttered with heavy cloud. A pesky North wind is whipping up white caps on a turquoise bay, so a very mixed bundle. It's a right cup-hugging, soup-sipping day, not remotely summery at all. There hasn't been enough rain to fill a buttercup, but I think that might change soon.

I rarely watch the news, but braved watching about the flooding. I can't get over the alarming rate at which it occurred or how no one had time to prepare. It's heartening to see good ole British spirit coming to the fore in such vexing circumstances. Hope those affected get back to their homes soon.

Going to play with some new stamps today, instead of admiring them. Getting as bad at that as sitting looking at pretty papers image

Have a good and creative day everyone, and hugs all round.
