I also think some sellers put a higher postage on in case the item sells for less than they were hoping for. i.e I've seen dies advertised for 99p but £2.50 p&p and I've seen ridiculous amounts where the seller is just plain greedy. (Have to say I have also had dealings with some really lovely sellers and have never had any problems apart from one late postage) The true crafters always seem to put little gifts in the package for example die cuts and one lovely lady, who I bought a set of dies from, sent me another set free because it hadn't sold. Agree that item should be securely packaged though. They can always "recycle" padded envelopes.
