losing a job is a really difficult life experience I think - one minute you feel calm about how to pay the mortgage/bills whatever - next minute you feel faintly sick all the time and very anxious ... I hated it when I was made redundant (just the once and I would never work for anyone else ever again! - at least I can't make myself redundant lol)

my daughter is struggling (she lost her job a few weeks ago with 15% of her work mates) and it's very hard to get anything except temp work at this time of year - but she'll pull through I'm sure ...

as to IW's redundancies - I wonder if it will be anyone I know there or just admin people I didn't get to meet - but my heart goes out to them - but if the new super boss feels it's necessary to protect the other 400+ staff then so be it ... the important thing is for the company to be fit and work well so we can enjoy the craft programmes (oops and the Flyflots lol)

but do hope the redundant staff find a new job very fast
