I love my caravan too - get some funny looks when I turn up on a site as a lone female towing - but I did the manoeuvering course by the Caravan Club and can quite happily reverse the 'van onto a pitch (and have a giggle at the looks on the guys faces when I do it!!). I'm in both the Caravan Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club - and I'm neither snobby or a drunk!!! I use the cerificated locations - small site, no more than 5 vans with hook up and if you've got a good washroom in the van what more can you want. I usually take some crafting with me if I'm going on my own - but this year a friend is joining me and we're going on a CL which is also adults only for £8.50 per night - which will suit a couple of teachers!! There are some amazing main club sites as well - favourites have got to be CCC's Inverewe Gardens on the west coast of Scotland - right on the edge of a sea loch - but an interesting drive to get there! Other favourite is CC just outside Berwick on Tweed.

Enjoy your caravan, relish the freedom it gives you.
