My friend's dad drove her three miles to school - this was years ago - with their cat curled up under the roof rack on his van. He was terrified, but hadn't fallen off as he was wedged under it. We thought he'd got under in the night and got stuck and they just hadn't noticed because he was a similar colour to sheeting etc that was on it already. He was only found because of the noise he was making that could be heard once the engine was turned off. A lot of fussing from a load of girls and he was soon ok - like most males would be. A box was found and he was taken straight back home, in the van this time.
